If you plan to host one of our downloadable games at any public, ticketed, paid, or repeat-use event, you’ll need to purchase a Commercial License for that specific game. This license gives you permission to use the game for one year from the date of purchase with unlimited in-person use during that time.
 
Whether you're a party planner, business owner, restaurant, theater group, or simply charging for participation, this license is required to use our content commercially.

How to Use:
Add the Commercial License to your cart along with the game you want to use.
If you’ve already purchased the game, include your original order number and game title in the notes at checkout.
You’ll receive a downloadable PDF license to keep for your records.
You’ll also receive any updates to the game during your active license period.
 
Important Notes:
This license is only valid for one specific game and must be paired with a standard game purchase.
The license is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
You do not need this license if you're hosting a single private event with no promotion or payment involved.
Licenses are non-refundable and non-transferable.

COMMERCIAL USE AGREEMENT FOR IN-PERSON EVENT HOSTING
This Commercial License Agreement outlines the terms under which you may use a downloadable game from Game Nights Galore for in-person commercial purposes.
 
If you have purchased the standard license for a single-use game and would like to use it commercially (as part of your business or organization, in a public setting, or for profit), or if you intend to use the game multiple times within one year, you must also purchase a Commercial License. One Commercial License covers one game for a period of up to one year, beginning on the date of purchase, and is only valid if paired with the Standard License for that same game.
 
If you wish to use multiple games commercially, you must purchase both a Standard and Commercial License for each individual game. Commercial Licenses are non-transferable and non-refundable.
 
License Expiration & Renewal
The Commercial License is valid for one year from the purchase date or until the associated Standard License expires—whichever comes first. Game Nights Galore does not send renewal notices. It is your responsibility to track expiration and maintain valid licensing for any event.
 
Promotion & Hosting Rules
You may not promote a Game Nights Galore game—verbally, online, in print, or otherwise—without an active Commercial License. Unauthorized promotion or hosting will void all active licenses and result in permanent ineligibility for future licensing. We actively monitor the use of our content online. Legal action may be taken against any violation.
 
You are permitted to host the licensed game an unlimited number of times during the license period. The original purchaser is not required to be present at each event, but all hosts must comply with this agreement and ensure they are authorized to use the game.
 
You Will Need a Commercial License If:
You are promoting the game through public channels (social media, websites, radio, television, podcasts, print, etc.).
You intend to use the game more than once, even for private events.
You are charging any type of fee for participation or entry—regardless of profit.
You are hosting the game at a public venue or event, including dinner theaters, restaurants, fundraisers, bed & breakfasts, and corporate gatherings.
You are offering the game as part of your paid services (e.g., an event planner, restaurant owner, consultant, or organization bundling it into an experience).
You are using the game as part of your business or organization’s offering—even if no direct fee is charged.
 
Note: This license is for in-person, face-to-face use only. If you are hosting an event on a virtual platform, please purchase the Virtual Commercial License.
 
You Do NOT Need a Commercial License If:
You are hosting a single private event with no entry fee or payment of any kind.
You are a school, library, or nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization hosting a one-time, no-cost private event.  Just send us a copy of your 501(c)(3) so we can update our records to reflect the use.
 
This License Does NOT Permit:
Live-streaming, recording, or publicly broadcasting any part of the game.
Use of test versions of games that were provided free or credited—only standard, published versions are eligible.
Selling, altering, or redistributing any portion of the game files in electronic, printed, or verbal format.
Sharing or transferring the game materials in whole or in part to another user or organization.
Posting spoilers, victim or murderer identities, character cards, clue sheets, or any other protected content online.
 
How to Activate and Use Your License:
Purchase both the Standard License (downloadable game) and the Commercial License for the same game.
 
All license activations are final and non-transferable. Licenses may not be assigned to purchases made by other users or transferred between games.
 
Using Game Nights Galore Graphics
You may use Game Nights Galore graphics for event promotion, but you must credit the source:
Printed or digital materials must include: "(Game Title) is a Game Nights Galore experience. Learn more at www.gamenightsgalore.com."
This statement must be placed directly below your final promotional line, with no skipped lines, no graphics in between, and matching font size.
Removing or obscuring the Game Nights Galore name, logo, or copyright statement will result in immediate license termination and potential legal action.
 
Game Updates & Retired Titles
If a game is updated during your license period, we will send you the updated version at no cost.
If a game is retired, you may continue to use it until your license expires, but it will no longer be supported or updated.
 
Public Representation Clause
To preserve the integrity of our brand, all licensees are expected to present Game Nights Galore products honestly in public settings.
Publishing false, misleading, or incomplete reviews may result in license suspension or termination.
If an issue arises, contact us directly to resolve it before posting complaints.
Repeated or intentional misrepresentation may result in permanent revocation of your license and future eligibility.
 
Violation Consequences
If you violate any portion of this agreement:
Your license will be voided immediately, without refund.
All current and future licenses will be revoked.
Legal action may be taken.
You will be permanently barred from purchasing commercial licenses from Game Nights Galore. ​​​​​​​
